Introduction
Welcome to Vandra! These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Vandra, our website and mobile application and related services (collectively, the "Service"), which let you plan, track and share outdoor adventures.
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Statement. If you disagree with any part of the terms, you do not have permission to access the Service.
Changes to Terms
We may modify or replace these Terms at any time. Changes are published on this page. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
The Service
Vandra lets you plan outdoor trips, browse curated multi-day itineraries, view and download trail tracks (including GPX), and create and share your own trips. Features may be added, changed or removed over time.
Use of the Service
- Eligibility: You must be at least 13 years old to create an account.
- Account: A free account is needed to save trips, log animals and sync between web and app. Keep your login credentials confidential.
- Prohibited uses: Do not use the Service unlawfully, to harm others, or in any way that abuses the platform.
Outdoor activities and safety
Outdoor activities involve risks. Always assess current conditions yourself, follow local regulations and waymarking, and never head out unprepared. Vandra is not responsible for injuries, losses or damages resulting from outdoor activities.
User content and moderation
You retain ownership of the trips, notes and photos you create in Vandra ("User Content"). By sharing a trip publicly, you grant other users and Vandra a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to view and use that content within the Service. Vandra may review and remove content that breaches these Terms.
Intellectual property
The Service itself, including its design, features and original content, is the exclusive property of Vandra and its licensors. Trail data shown in Vandra is derived in part from OpenStreetMap and other open data sources, subject to their respective licences.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access at our sole discretion, in particular for breaches of these Terms. You can delete your account and data yourself at any time in the app.
Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Vandra is not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from use of or inability to use the Service.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of The Netherlands.
